Small Group Adventure Travel
Adventure travel is not just for young people, broke backpackers and social media influencers. After years of doing this myself I have custom designed options for mature adults who want to experience adventure travel.
Expedition Happiness Tours cater specifically to small groups of mature aged travellers seeking to explore the world in a unique and exciting way. It’s never too late to step out of your comfort zone and see places you have only dreamed about ... safely and in relative comfort of course!
Small Group Adventure Travel
Expedition Happiness Tours is all about small group, adventure travel. With a group of only four to six people we can offer you a more personalised experience compared to large group tours. With fewer people, it is easier to tailor the itinerary to far-away and hard to reach destinations, and there is more opportunity for one-on-one interaction with guides and local experts.
Everywhere an Expedition Happiness Tour goes I have been before, sometimes more than once ... well, often more than once, because I love these places so much. Over many years of travel I have developed relationships with guides and made friends with locals who can offer us insider knowledge and access to hidden gems that you just can’t get with a regular tour.
If you have ever travelled to a place were no one knows your name then no doubt you know that things don’t always go to plan. You need to be flexible. Travelling in a small group means we can change the itinerary and logistics without too much stress to suit the conditions and there is more opportunity for spontaneous activities and exploration.
But, for me, there’s more to it than that. Now more than ever, we need to consider the impact our tourism has on the local economies and the planet as a whole. My goal is for Expedition Happiness Tours to be a benchmark of sustainable travel - that our small group of explorers can have minimal impact on the environment and local communities that we visit. To that end I have chosen guides and accommodation who believe in making sustainable choices for their environment and I want to support their conservation efforts.
