Passenger Guidelines FAQ's
Whether you're an avid photographer, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking adventure, our tours cater to all.
With a group of only four to six people we can offer you a more personalised experience compared to large group tours. With fewer people, it is easier to tailor the itinerary to far-away and hard to reach destinations, and there is more opportunity for one-on-one interaction with guides and local experts.
Our small group tours are designed for mature aged travellers. For the majority of our trips, there is no upper age limit, but we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding, and passengers must ensure they are fit enough to fully participate.
Participants must be in good health and moderately fit to undertake a trip. For some people hiking and trekking may be challenging physically, but many hiking trails range from easy to difficult, so there are options for all levels of fitness and experience. You should have adequate fitness to handle the expected hours of walking some days. The more physically prepared you are, the more enjoyable your adventure will be. It is your responsibility to thoroughly read the itinerary and choose a trip that matches your ability and fitness level.
Prices and Payments FAQ's
The price will include all sightseeing and activities listed in the itinerary, as well as National Parks passes (where applicable).
The price will include international & (in country) domestic flights unless specified, along with airport transfers & taxes and all transportation and transfers listed in the itinerary (unless otherwise specified). However, your domestic flight to our departure point (Brisbane International Airport) is NOT included in the price.
All meals listed in the itinerary are included as well as a trail mix for enjoyment during the walks.
The tour price does not include visa and passport fees, travel insurance, excess baggage charges (unless specified), meals (other than those specified in the itinerary) and all personal expenses.
We can accept payment by credit card, direct transfer and PayPal. Bookings are considered unconfirmed until a non-refundable deposit of $500 for is paid. The balance of payments must be settled within 90 days of the departure date.
Tours FAQ's
Expedition Happiness Tours offers fully guided tours with our experienced guides who have a passion for adventure travel and photography.
Comfortable accommodation will be provided throughout the tour as listed in the itinerary (unless otherwise specified).
My goal is for Expedition Happiness Tours to be a benchmark of sustainable travel - that our small group of explorers can have minimal impact on the environment and local communities that we visit. To that end I have chosen guides and accommodation who believe in making sustainable choices for their environment and I want to support their conservation efforts.
These trips are subject to the elements and weather conditions and require our guests to be adaptable. The itinerary may change without prior notice due to local weather conditions on the day. Daily activities will generally proceed in all but exceptional weather conditions. Conditions such as fog, mist, drizzle, showers, rain, sleet, and strong winds do not typically affect the operation of our adventures.
